Christy’s work reflects a surreal, almost dream-like state that’s simultaneously melancholy and uplifting. An Atlanta native, she finds inspiration in the city as well as throughout the world by traveling as often as she can. Christy cites the late Linda McCartney as her direct artistic influence.

After studying photography at Creative Circus in 2001, Christy found her place in the Atlanta art scene, showing around the city and beyond with recent highlights including the Cartel Gallery, The Mattress Factory show and the Atlanta Dogwood Festival. Currently, her work is available for viewing and purchase at the Creative INK studio (216 14th Street) from 9AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday, and will also be featured in the studio’s VIP Night on December 4, 2009. Prices range from $100 to $500 for framed gallery prints.

A New Film: Art & Copy

We think this looks really great!
>> VIEW TRAILER

ART & COPY is a powerful new film about advertising and inspiration. Directed by Doug Pray (SURFWISE, SCRATCH, HYPE!), it reveals the work and wisdom of some of the most influential advertising creatives of our time -- people who've profoundly impacted our culture, yet are virtually unknown outside their industry. Exploding forth from advertising's "creative revolution" of the 1960s, these artists and writers all brought a surprisingly rebellious spirit to their work in a business more often associated with mediocrity or manipulation: George Lois, Mary Wells, Dan Wieden, Lee Clow, Hal Riney and others featured in ART & COPY were responsible for "Just Do It," "I Love NY," "Where's the Beef?," "Got Milk," "Think Different," and brilliant campaigns for everything from cars to presidents. They managed to grab the attention of millions and truly move them. Visually interwoven with their stories, TV satellites are launched, billboards are erected, and the social and cultural impact of their ads are brought to light in this dynamic exploration of art, commerce, and human emotion.

The Most Engaged Brands On The Web

What big brands do the best job with social media?
